READ THAT AGAIN.
SLOWLY.
Intelligence is becoming abundant. Wisdom remains scarce.
WALK WITH ME FOR A MOMENT.
Every generation faces a defining workforce challenge.
Some years ago, adapting to multigenerational teams was a thing. Gig work and job hopping took over after previous generations created 40-hour work weeks and believed in long-term company loyalty. Personal computers changed how business got done. Then, mobile devices encouraged "always on" access to work.
Surely, you've lived through some of these workforce challenges that have redefined the workplace. You've seen how 401Ks, work-life balance activities, "quiet mode" devices and other resources developed in response to some of the challenges listed above.
Do more research to learn of other examples throughout American work history.
NOW . . . THINK FOR A MOMENT.
What challenge is redefining work in 2026?
I believe our current challenge is this:
Intelligence is becoming abundant.
Wisdom remains scarce.
ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN.
For the first time in history, almost anyone can access information instantly.
AI can help write emails, analyze data, create resumes, prepare presentations, and answer questions in seconds.
But information isn't judgment.
Knowledge isn't wisdom.
And access isn't understanding.
Workforce leaders, educators, employers, and entrepreneurs really should be asking:
How are we preparing people for a world where intelligence is abundant but wisdom remains scarce?
Some of us may need to ask ourselves this EXACT QUESTION.
Because the people who thrive won't just know more or have easier access intelligence.
They'll know how to think, adapt, communicate, lead, and make decisions. THIS BREEDS WISDOM.
SO HOW DO WE PREPARE?
That question is shaping much of our work through CitiLife Development, LetsWorkPRO, and our newest resource: CareerGPS™.
