If you've ever been put on an PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLAN (PIP), then you can understand why!


Let’s be real: PIPs can feel terrifying.

Especially for folks who were never taught the unwritten rules of workplace culture, or for those of us who’ve seen PIPs used as a quiet "fade to black" ✌🏽 #youreFIRED.


Here’s the truth:

A PIP can mean two things.

🔹 A structured way to help you grow

🔹 A signal your role or standing is shifting


Many of us enter a PIP without clarity on which one we’re dealing with.
